About me
Hey and welcome!
I’m Diana
And I’m glad you made it here.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) and supervisor. I am a wife, and mother of two, but, most importantly, I’m a person – just like you! I’m a Latina therapist based in Texas. I’m “beginner level” bilingual in Spanish and English and have knowledge of both Hispanic/Latinx and American culture.
I, too, experience challenging times and understand how incredibly difficult – and scary – the decision to start therapy can be.
I want you to know – I’ve been there. And it truly was the best decision I could have ever made.
What I’ve found beautiful about the experience in therapy is the transformation, the chance you have to create the life you really want.
I am passionate about working with women and couples from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I specialize in working with issues of anxiety, trauma and life transitions.
My Journey wasn’t always easy
Everything I’ve experienced has led me to truly value the sacred space we create in the therapy room. It may sound cliché, but it’s truly where the magic happens!
I’m committed to supporting you throughout your journey and to honoring your process.
No single “type” of therapy is the correct one for everyone, so I work with my clients and draw from various modalities to help you figure out what will work best to achieve your goals. I use a trauma informed, feminist, collaborative and culturally responsive approach to therapy, and I’m a strong believer in the power of healing through connection and collaboration. I believe the healing process starts with safety and authentic connection, and I work to create a welcoming therapy environment where you can show up exactly as you are.
